Hi McBrown,
Are you going to the Petrophysics congress in Manchester, on the 26th of January? And can you pass me the e-mail address of Marius, your French friend in Edinburgh?
Cheers,

How’s your beef?
Congress in Manchester, yeah I’ve read about it. Are you going? What is it anyway, and do they serve beer and frikandels afterwards? Perhaps we could combine it with the BB3, but: the 26th is on a wednesday…. I should check it with my timetable at the Institute.
How do you know Marius and what are you going to ask him (not that I’m curious…..). Or do you have a secret confidential date that nobody is supposed to take notice of? Whoops, too late.
Cheers, Pieter

That congress is just a one-day event with a couple of lectures and some 3D visualisation. They probably do beer, though frikandels are not expected. Maybe some bitterballs will be imported. It is indeed on a Wednesday, but I’ve had my exams the week prior to that week, so I’m fine for booze.
I met Marius last week in Portugal when we were doing some work for Bivalve. He’s a really funny lad, especially when drunk. You might as well pass my e-mail address to him if you want. Got some pics for him taken during that confidential date….

How was the origami? Did you produce a cranebird? Or did you stick to the paper hat? And the fun/beer/etc; Miolnir’s honour kept alive?
Well, I am looking forward to all the good stories about RDSG and their promises to save the world! CU at least on the ODPDF on the 29th at the latest anyway in the Parrot. Do some stone-grill practising, will you?
Cheers from the Lowlands

December 21, 2004 at 18:24 #19676Hi Van The Man,
Did keep Miolnirs honour alive when singing ‘Yesterday’ on a podium (under influence..). Hilarious….ahum.
C u the 29th when grilling a parrot. Sounds like a meal at the Austrian Ostrich…Hoople

What is this thickdoing?
Do you have something from “it is a piece of umbrella-understanding towards the people” to show off that your English is you from it?
You know that high trees catch a lot of wind, and who sows wind will harvest storm. I think you should hold yourself in a little and keep yourself deised.

Oвощи!
радостный рождество, ради мои сослуживеци!
December 22, 2004 at 16:18 #19683I will put a tranlation of the above for the less lettered Hince:
“I’m sorry, Hincemountains, forgive me my arrogance.
Vegetables!
Merry Christmas on behalf of my colleagues!”
or/ou:
“Excusez-moi, d’Hincemontagnes, pardonnez mon arrogance.
Des légumes!
Joyeux Noël au nom de mes collègues!”
December 22, 2004 at 16:25 #19684Wat doet Anton Geesink hiertussen?
Weet je trouwens dat jij vlak bij de papagaai woont? En dat ze zijn straat naar hem vernoemd hebben omdat hij anders de weg naar huis niet meer kan vinden?
