2008: Active Earth

The Symposiumcommittee 2008 is very proud to present the 10th symposium organised by the Geological College Miölnir; Active Earth. Since the surface of the Earth is constantly due to many (external) forces, this subject gives great look into the past of our own planet, as well as the future that lies ahead of us. We have organized a symposium that goes into the subject as deep as the mantle, and as shallow as snow covers, creating a topic interesting for almost any research group. We would like to invite you all to visit our symposium on Friday 14 March 2008 at the Instituut voor Aardwetenschappen, Budapestlaan 4, 3584 CD Utrecht (at the Uithof). Our program will start at 9.30 where everybody will be welcomed with coffee and tea. The first speaker will start at 10.20 and at the end of the day, we will transfer ourselves to Unitas S.R, Lucas Bolwerk 8, 3512 EG Utrecht (city center) for our social event. All of us are looking forward to a great symposium and we hope to see you there as well!
No admission, lunch included.
