Voor iedereen die ook een in slechte staat verkerend handvat heeft aan zijn goede oude Estwing:

The original leather grip was dipped in three coats of specially-formulated lacquer. Although you will not be able to commercially purchase a similar
lacquer, you may refinish or refurbish by lightly sanding, cleaning the grip
with a tac-rag, then applying two coats of polyurethane varnish.
